Besides bespoke projects, we have two products that we develop and keep running over time. They are not a project delivered and closed.
In-line inspection
The camera finds the part with 2D pattern matching, aligns it and compares its profile with the DXF drawing to tell whether it conforms. It has been in continuous production on one line since 2023, with the software installed on a PC at the machine.
Measurement and statistical control
A web system for measurement and statistical process control: the operator measures with a USB gauge (no driver to install), and the app keeps the control charts and the measurement history and drives a signal light at the workstation. A vision module also runs on the server for measurements that do not come from the gauge. It is being installed at our first customer, on its factory network, and is offered for a recurring fee, with updates, fixes and support included.
Vision library
The machine vision library we develop in-house — 2D pattern matching, DXF comparison, measurement, calibration, cameras, 3D — on which both products above rest.
Both rest on the same in-house vision library that we develop (pattern matching, DXF comparison, measurement primitives), so a fix or an improvement made for one customer stays available for the next.
